Windows 7: why so many disconnected Tunnel adapters?

why so many disconnected Tunnel adapters?

Whenever I do an ipconfig, I have to use the switches:" /all |more " because there are tons of disconnected Tunneling adapters. Why are there so many? Is there something I should do about it?
