I see in a few places that the connection timeout time for FIrefox 4 cannot be changed in Firefox itself, but in Windows 7 (64-bit) registry. If that is correct, could anyone know where and how?
I also wonder if there are anywhere in Windows 7 to set the number of connection tries before timeout? I am asking because I do not know much about these things, but I used "tracert" and made about 10 hops, and then, another about 8 connection tires before I finally connected to the site to which I cannot connect normally in FF4 (support.vonage.com) Most other people have no problems (including my wife on the same local network, with Win 7 but Firefox 3.16).
Grateful for tips.
