    Unable to share custom libraries


    I'm having trouble sharing custom libraries between my desktop and laptop PC. When I choose one of the default folders to share (Documents, Videos, etc) I can get those shares to show up on my laptop. However, when I try to share my Apps folder instead of getting this when I click the "Share With" drop down box...



    I only get "Advanced Sharing"? I can't figure out why... does anyone know?

    Try the Simple File Sharing feature its simple and easy to use

i cant figure out why windows wont let me share libraries. every time i check the library then 'save changes', when i return to the settings all except for printer checkboxes are unchecked again. i have tried everything i can think of, please help. thanks. 342138

i am not able to share any of by folders or libraries, as there is no option what so ever in either the context menu or the navigation/menu bar i checked the entry for this in shellx menu of registry and it is there but not visible else where is it due to some service turned off??

Hey all, in Win7, I usually create another 2 custom libraries to suit my data. I can't seem to find a way to add them to top right of the start menu along with Music, Pictures and Videos. Is there a way to do this? Thanks Zambz
