Windows 7: crossover network sharing

crossover network sharing

ok, i have 2 computers, one has windows 7 x64 the other x32. the x64 iz the one i wanna share. on the x64 i have wireless coming in and want to share it from the wired coming out the back, it iz gigabit but the x32 iz not. idk what other info u need. i tried searching the forums but i didn't see no help
please help

Easy go into network and sharing, shift click on the two service (wifi and lan) RIGHT CLICK and bridge them. It should then work

You say crossover in the title - do you have a crossover ethernet cable? If so you can plug the 64-bit Windows machine directly to the 32-bit one, but you need to enable ICS on the 64-bit machine. The connection speed will be limited to the 32-bit machine network interface. It will still be adequate for internet browsing even at 10 or 100Mbps.
