    Fire Fox 3.5 issue

I ahd the same problem with FF 3.10 Had hoped they would iron this out.

Problem-Help-update is grayed out. There must be a way around this issue by now. I've posted in the Mozilla forums but no one seems to know there. All say try running in Admin mode. Well that does not work and even if it did that is not an acceptable fix imo.Anyone figure this out?
    TIA,

Not grayed out on my copy of 3.5, have you tried re-installing? Maybe something just didn't go right?

No I have not tried reinstalling. Did you just reinstall over top 3.5 or delete it entirely? Are you running 64 bit or x86? Wondering if 64 bit is an issue.

That may be it as I am on x86, I just installed as an "upgrade".

Hmm Well hopefully some others can chime in on the 64 /x86 issue. As for the upgrade factor I am lost. Do you mean when you reinstalled it you updated 3.5 or are you saying how you originally installed 3.5? Come to think of it if you have had no issues why would you have reinstalled it. D'oh I shall keep trouble shooting.

I just checked my desktop (forgot it is running x86) and there are no problems there if I enable run as admin. Appears it is a 64 bit issue. Anyone using 64 bit having same or better results? This could be an important bug.

Sorry, I meant I installed FF 3.5 as an upgrade to my previous version of FF.

I figured that. I installed the same way and having just checked my old inspiron 6400 warhorse can report 2 for 2 update working on

I am running on 7264 x64 with no problems. I to have had this problem with previous OSs (not just W7) and previous versions of FF.

Yeah it is an ubuntu issue as well. But you are good now huh. How did you install 3.5? Do you think it is the newer build your running? I am still on the RC 7100, eagerly awaiting the RTM.
