upnp extender problems

I tried to set up my xbox as a wireless extender to stream music and videos from my pc but initially my pc wouldn't find it at all. I read somewhere that restarting the upnp device host service might solve this and it infact did. My pc was alble to find it and i was able to stream music/videos etc. The problem is that everytime i restart my computer it won't find the xbox all over again and i have to go to the services menu and restart upnp again in order for it to work. I have set upnp device host to automatic start and after a fresh start it's listed as running but it wont detect my extender. In the windows system log in the event viewer the only error i get after a fresh restart is:

The machine-default permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
to the user VAIOF12\UpdatusUser SID (S-1-5-21-3086330443-3575451975-4128024423-1018) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool

but i don't know if that's related to it at all.

What could be causing this and do you have any ideas how to fix it?

Thank you very much!
