    restoration

I have a dell optiplex with xp pro sp3 that was wiped clean of user info to be ready for re-sale because I purchased a laptop. The laptop Is connected wirelessly thru a broadband modem & belken g router. I would like now to connect the xp so that It would be seen by the laptop, & connect to the Internet. what really baffles me Is I do not have a monitor for the desktop. Any suggestions??

Without a monitor attached, it would be hard to set shared folders & mapped drives to be seen by the laptop

my suggestion is to borrow or buy a monitor.

what did you used to use for the optiplex? is your old monitor broken or something?
