Lan help-- no network access
Quick run through--
I am using a wireless usb adapter rather than the computer wireless adapter as the computer one does not allow for ICS while the usb one does. I don't know if this info is relevant but I have an ALFA model AWUS036NEH.
Anyways, my computer (ASUS Eee PC 1215t running Windows 7 32bit) didn't come with the ethernet driver, so I installed it (Atheros AR8152 1.0.0.36).
What I'm trying to do is to connect to XBOX live via ethernet using my wireless connection but my LAN network says "No Network Access" and the IPv4 and IPv4 also say no network access. I have gotten an "invalid ip configuration" message. I found that I had a lot of those tunnel things that I deleted. I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver. I also restarted the router and modem. I'm still having this problem.
