No internet acces and unidentified network

Hi all, so I have recently made a new install of windows 7 and now I can't seem to acces the Internet. I am using PPoE connection for the Internet which requires username and pass from the ISP, and yes I'ved checked if they're well written thousands of times before posting this but it still seems it doesn't work. The error I receive is:
Error 691: The Remote connection was denied because the user name and password combination you provided is not recognized, or the selected authentication protocol is not permitted on the remote access server.
As I said before, I checked thousands of times if the data for the connection is valid and also called all the ISPs I have subscriptions from and said there's nothing wrong from their side. I used Windows 7 before for about two years and never had this issue. Also if I try to disable and enable the network again it says that it is unidentified, and under the title it says that there is no internet acces, but in fact there is. Anyone knows how to solve this issue? Been trying for two days almost now, and I'm out of ideeas. And another thing is if you're asking if I have anti virus software, no I don't as the Windows OS is freshly installed, I also did an online virus check but it seems there isn't any.

Can we get you to run ipconfig /all and post the output so we can see your configuration?

Here is the info shown when running ipconfig/all command. Also forgot to mention, the only internet connection working is my USB modem flash drive. Which I'm currently using.

I know this kind of issue can be frustrating but all of us are volunteers and have real life commitments that supersede being here 24x7. We live in different parts of the world and even occasionally need sleep.

It appears your card is not configured corrected (hence the 169.254.x.x address).

The ipconfig /all isnt showing the entire output from the line that says ipconfig /all down. The output seems to suggest a configuration issue with only the ethernet being enabled, and the subnet mask being set to a type "B". Unusual to say the least. Have you contacted the ISP for assistance?

we need to go into device manager and see if the correct driver is installed and working properly for the lan.

Please go to start>search>type device manager. (for Win 7 and Vista)

Are there any "unknown devices" with yellow triangles on them?
Is you driver there , listed, and working?

If your driver is missing, or there is a yellow triangle on it, you will need to update it.

@zigzag3143 sorry for the rush, through I'm a bit scared not to lose even the last working Internet connection of the PC while I wait for these helpful replies, and to answer you're question I'ved checked up in the Device Manager even before you asked, and it didn't seem to have a problem there. Did it again now, just to be sure it's properly working, and according to Device Manager, it is still working. I did the driver update again, as you suggested but I had also did this in the past and even through it seemed OK there, it won't recognize the network. Below is a capture of what does it shows on the screen after I do a driver update for the network.

I conctacted all the ISPs I have subscriptions from, they all said there is no issue on their end, could the LAN card be dead? Still the other flash drive modem I have from the other ISP(not the one I use now) still gives me errors same as the Ethernet cable, so it might not be a LAN card issue considering this. The PC also seems to bug me about not having administrator capabilities on the system, which is infact not true at all, I even tried to create a new fresh administrator user account so that I can have everything back to default, but that didn't solve it I still have the same problem.

Could be pci card, but if it worked and suddenly stopped when you upgraded Im thinking it is a configuration error.

"other flash drive modem" are these boradband, or modems?

Can you tell us more about your network setup?

    does it come from ISP>>modem>>router>>pc's??

No, they're wireless Internet USB flash drives actually, and yes they were each given by the ISPs when I subscribed to them. If I look better at them(the flash drives) or at least that's what windows says when I click the network icon down near the clock, the one which works seems to have a dial up icon shown near it(the wireless one), and the other(which is the one i'm having issues), shows the Ethernet connection icon. The strange fact is that none of them work on my notebook, only the one I use now works on the desktop computer. I still suspect the ISPs have errors or are blocking my acces, through it can also be the cause of my PC and/or notebook in equal terms. On the notebook I didn't change any setting for almost a year(system specific ones), and it still denies all my internet connections on it to connect to the providers.

also, thought of an ideea, could my Ethernet cable be damaged? I mean if everything seems to be set up OK even in the Device Manager and even after uninstaling and reinstalling the LAN card it all seems to be fine, the driver I mean.
