    DNS Server not responding

    Hi everyone!

I'm not really good with computers so I don't understand alot of the vocabulary used in alot of these forums.

But recently I have encountered a problem with my internet.
I am using Windows 7 and up until friday night, my internet was fine.

I tried accessing the internet on friday night but when i started up my computer, something popped up asking me whether my internet connection was home, public or the other one (i forgot).

The internet signal bar in my task bar would say it's connected but no internet access, whenever I tried to open an internet browser, a yellow yield triangle would appear in the signal bar.

I used to get error messages like "Can't communicate to DNS sever" but now I get "DNS server not responding"

Before, it was only my laptop that wasn't able to connect to the internet, everything like phones and the other laptops were fine. Now, even my desktop can't connect to the internet!

Right now I'm only able to access the internet because I plugged in the ethernet (blue) cable directly into my laptop.

I really don't know what is going on, I've tried multiple diagnoses like flushing the dns and the ipconfig /all thing, but nothing is working!

Exam time is rolling around, please help ):

    Thank you SO MUCH!
