Sharing a folder on a home network?

Hi Guys, I've got a home network with 4 PCs on it using a Linksys E3000 router. All of the PCs run Windows 7.

On one of the PCs, I'd like to set it up so that a specific folder on the hard drive will be shared over the network and accessible (for full read/write) by the other PCs on the network whenever the main PC is turned on.

How would I go about configuring something like this? I have no idea how the networking functionality works.

Hi 003, right click the folder you want to share, select properties>sharing, click 'Advanced Sharing', tick box 'Share this folder', click 'Permissions'. From here you can do as you want.

Homegroup is quite easy to setup depending on the versions you have running, but the above methods will work regardless, I have a seperate machine left on all the time for this, you can buy network portable harddrives that connect via ethernet to your router to also achieve this.
