Sharing drives and folders problem

Hi everyone, I have a few drives that I have shared, but ive read that you cant share the root of a drive for other devices to see the folders contained. So I have shared a few folders which seems to work by sharing them to everyone in the home group, but I have alot of folders and its gonna take me ages to share them one by one. Is there a quick way so i can explore the folders on my PS3 and Xbox 360?

If I use the media centre on Xbox it takes too long to connect so Im looking at an extender. I was running a N modem wireless router but my pc wasnt supplying quick enough so I changed it to G only. As my xbox wireless dongle is G one and I have ordered a N one from dealextreme.

So suggestions?

Thanks

I'm not too familiar with what you are trying to do, but perhaps you could find an answer here: Sharing and Permissions
