problem with SQL
sorry if this is in the wrong place, i know this forum is Windows 7 but since i've gotten great help before here i want to ask it anyway.
so onto the problem, when i want to connect to a SQL database i get the following error "connection to the datastore could not be established (invalid connection string attribute)"
this seems to me as a password/username error but it is not! i exported the string i use to connect to on the server itself and imported in the client (the program i want to connect is RES powerfuse)
i am not in the same ip range, but i can connect via RDP & ping to the server.
i hope to hear from you soon
thanks in advance,
