    Network - see full map

In Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit - Control Panel - Network and Sharing Center - See Full Map I can see a map with all my hosts: Computers, Routers, Switches, NAS,..

Everything exept my server (XP Professional SP3 workstation which serves as server).
According to some advice I had to install on that wksta XP SP3 in the Local Aerea Connection a new protocol: "Link Layer Topology Discovery responder" which I did but to no avail.
Maybe the firewall blocked this so I temporarily disabled the firewall on XP and Window 7. But I still can't see my XP Host.

    Can anyone help me please?

Sometimes just rebooting both machines will do the trick
If not you may need to manually navigate to the share folders on both and make sure they are connected and not asking for passwords or anything.

sorry I didn't tell but I rebooted both PSs and on both PC the accounts (login name and password) are the same.
    Connecting shares is no problem.
The XP Wksta servers several items: DNS, SQL, Web, DHCP, DS, ... with no problems so connections are not tha problem.
