Program Internet blocking

Is it possible to single out a specific program not to use the internet. Like keeping it in the dark about the internet status.
Please keep it simple still a young developer.

Welcome slugger7 to the windows 7 forums.

The best way is via Windows Firewall and not allowing the program thru the firewall. There are several firewall programs that can do this also. there are methods via your hosts file if you know the ip the the program is trying to use.

Disallow the program Internet access through your firewall.
To do this, go Start -> Control Panel -> Windows Firewall.

hope it helps
