James has a good point! You need netbios or something like it for your Session Layer.

If your up to it, there's a great, but somewhat technical tutorial here: Internetwork Troubleshooting Guide

If that's too much: check this:
    HTML Code:
    To enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP:
Click Start, and then click Network. (Or you can click Start, type ncpa.cpl into the search box, and press ENTER).
Click on the Network and Sharing Center, and then click Manage Network Connections.
Right click on the Local Area Connection or the connection you are using.
Select the Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
Click the Advanced button under the General tab.
    Click the WINS tab.
You should see a similar screen as below. Make sure the buttun the arrow points to is on.... That says that your DHCP server gives you the netbios settings. That is how it should be. If in doubt, post your version of this screen.

    Attachment 162587

    Good luck!
the button you showed is not being allowed to click but i have enabled netbios over tcp/ip

I hate to see a mystery go unsolved, but a System Restore might sort it out, choosing a point pre-dating the issue:

setting that button for standard netbios through your DHCP server.

+ a check: had you tried to completely delete this faulty LAN connection, reboot and let it find and install a new LAN connection with default settings?

Can you post the settings of your router? it may have strange DHCP settings....

OK, I just re-read this entire thread. Sal123, early on you stated you were using a mmx 310g 3g USB modem for your internet. You also stated that your IP address was IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 117.226.251.52. That is a public IP address which means you are connected directly to the Internet and do not go though a router. No router means no port forwarding. Your next link in the chain is your ISP's equipment and you don't have access to that. I'm no networking expert but to my mind if you don't go though a router you don't need to port forward anyway. Also if you are in fact directly connected to the Internet you do not want to play around with setting a static IP. You IP address could conceivably change every time you connect to the internet. It depends on how your ISP has things setup. If you set a static IP and its identical to another IP they have assigned to another PC on their network you will knock both PC's off of the network. No two PC's on the same network can have the same IP address. If what I said above is true your ISP may have already locked you out of their network for messing around where you shouldn't be. I would think that giving you a default gateway of 0.0.0.0 which goes nowhere would be one way to lock you out. At this point though a lot of what I have posted is guesses on my part so I'll just wait and see what everybody else thinks.

I must've been blind! It's in his first post:

.I tried five times and each time i failed.after five times the webpage banned me for fifteen minutes from then my default gateway is 0.0.0.0.
