I thought I should share my latest Wi-fi experience.
My modem is a Siemens Gigaset SE567. About a week ago my laptop(Toshiba Satellite) kept losing its internet connection. I updated drivers(Realteck) no improvement. Took computer to repair shop and only solution recommended was a reformat. I did this at home and after reformat everything worked fine until some Windows 7 updates installed. I lost my internet connection completely.Wi-fi signal was 100%. I installed new wireless software from realteck site as the Windows 7 drivers were out of date. Still no internet access. As a last resort, I reset my modem to factory settings, input my user information and have been up and running ever since. In hind site, I should have reset my modem before I reformatted my laptop. I keep wondering if a Mac would be easier?
