Hi Phone Man, thanks for the info - I'll try that too.

Paul1360 - I installed the software you recommended and after a first looks like it can keep a record of more than one PC on a network over a specified period ? I just need to figure out how to do that ?

Thanks for all the replies - this Forum is the biz !!!!

I'm running Win 7 64bit, My PC is wired and my Laptop is wireless and TBB meter gives me the usage on both, as it's set to cover my Home group network. Been using it for a long time now.

Sorry for the off-topic in this thread but: did you have to do anything special to install? My W7 64 SP1 won't. I do have Bitlocker on for some other testing I'm doing...

Nope, installed first time with no problems, I did heed some of the install problems but for me it just worked. FYI, I have Win 7 home Premium 64-bit if that is any different from the Ultimate version you have ? I have not installed any SP on it yet as it is a relatively new PC so its at the level it left the manufacturer (HP). Hope this of help.

I think I know what the problem is, even though not yet fixed. I have a multi-layer network and upon install BTT wants to recognise a standard user profile that, in my case, is not standard. That messes up the install. I'll figure it out sometime...

That's what you get for having a complicated setup - I stick to the simple approach ( possibly, cos I don't know any different ) .... best of luck.

Nope nothing at all just installed it and then set it up, The only thing that will cause you a problem is if you are using Kaspersky IS/AV, you then have to do a bit of extra setup up, takes about 5mins, instruction to do this and any other option is here:-

    PS
I've found the differance between this meter and BT own is less than 50Mb, TBB is the slightly higher
