What does this mean in my netgear settings


So im running virgin 10mb and i recently got a hub so i got rid of my modem and router. and when i go to 192.168.0.1 and login i see that, ive obviously blanked out a bit of my ip.. don't want people seeing that but what does Duration and expires mean???? its listed right under the ip

You IP address is assigned by your ISP and has a lease period with an expiration date. It will automatically reset the connection and request a new IP address. Its just the way DHCP works and is transparent to the user.

My guess is it's the expiry time of your dhcp assigned IP address. The duration can simply be uptime.
