    Port 80

    Hi,
I have a Windows 7 machine and I am running apache. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but, I have forwarded port 80 on my router to my ip address and have disabled (temporarily) any firewalls. But, I can't access my Server from the internet. Please help.

I know this post is old but i fixed this a while ago and didn't update it. My ISP Cox doesn't allow port 80. Therefore no custom web hosting for me. But what I did was change the port to :8080. This worked fine. The only downside is people have to type in http:\\www.mywebsite.com:8080

Put your url in a code box so it will not be resolved to the page name. That way people can see the :8080 port specification you mentioned.
