Syncing Folders from win7 laptop to win7 desktop..

I'd like to setup a automated Syncing Folders from win7 laptop to win7 desktop and back based on newer files only via the network.. (shared folders)
I am studing uni which requires me to take my laptop to classes, but when doing anything too hardcore (video editing mainly) I used the more powerful desktop machine.
I want it to only sync if the files are newer, but going both ways..

Is that possible?
