Strange Problem with seven and xp in domain

i have a network with xp client now i added a winseven computer to lan but via seven access to shared folder was very low in speed sometimes but in xp client it is very fast
another problem is when access to many resource in lan (Shared folder) Sometimes need username and pass and sometimes dont need

You said "domain" - are you running active directory, and if so, what server OS are you running? Or do you mean "workgroup" instead?

Hi there. I've searched for this problem and found nothing. The problem is: I have a linux Samba Server acting as a Domain controler that works OK. The Domain controler IP is 192.168.16.254. On the cliente I have Windows 7 Pro x64 the has the IP 192.168.16.5 and works ok.
