Limit my download

hey all, I just want to know if there is a software that can limit my download size, i am limited from by 28GB, but if i use more, they making me pay horribly much :S so if there is anything that can warn me when i reach it, or to cut my connection, i would be thankful .
I hope someone would help.

Out of interest, is there much difference in price between a 28GB cap and unlimited downloads with your current ISP.

If they are so expensive why don't change to one that's more reasonably priced?

there is difference, and just i am not able now to change it, about software, i just need something to stop me from reaching that number.. or warn me to stop downloading files, thats all
