Removing a network

I connected a Belkin 3398 to my PC to configure it, then removed but now it keeps reappearing in "Manage Wireless Connections" and makes itself as the prime connection to connect automatically. This in turn makes my main Belkin 8D91 as a secondary to connect manually. I've tried to remove it many times but it just keeps coming back.

Thanks Ztruker, but that's the basics of how to remove, I've done all that without a problem. The problem I have is that the removed network keeps coming back, I've tried renaming it, but it comes back again with it's original name then leaving me with 3 networks. The changed name one can be deleted without any worries, but it's that Belkin 3398 that I just cant get rid of.

Are you using a 3rd party connection manager, check whether the deleted network gets saved there.

Another thing to try is remove all networks, uninstall the network card/cards, reboot, then configure the network.

You can also try deleting every reference to the bad connection in the registry.

The Belkin 3398 is an external wireless adapter, no card installed, same goes for the main adapter the Belkin 8D91. I'll try deleting references in the registry and see how that goes, no I'm not using a 3rd party manager. thanks
