    Hi,

    I am administrator,
I have a ms essentials firewall running.
For now, all the machine's have access. I don't know how, didn't change anything. But the fact is, i cant locally reach the share. Meaning, i can click on network, the only pc is see in this network is my own, click on that, and i see all my shares, but when i try to open one, i cant.

When you click on the shares, does it give you an error message? If so, what's it say?

You may not have the permission to use this network resource. contact the server administrator if you want to know if you have access permissions. The specified server can not perform the requested operation

When i try to open any shared folder on the machine (machine witch i shared the folders on, i get the specified server can not perform the requested operation.

This is remote desktop software, that's good when only one person is trying to see files (locally, not the shared folders) correct me if i'm wrong. I'm already using teamviewer, same thing, different name.

Issue still is, when you find your own machine in the network, you click on it, try to open a shared folder, you dont have any access.

I think it's a permission issue on the shares themselves. Have you tried looking at the security settings on each individual share?

I don't know anymore. When i try to share any folder, on the C: or D: it get's unavailable. What does this mean:
The server cannot perform the requested operation.

That you need to look at the specific permissions for each folder. They need to be changed/tuned. (I'll post back with a link on how to do so. There's a how-to article here somewhere. I just need to try and track it down after getting some sleep)

Can you go to the folder itself, and open it, rather than going through shares?
