Limited ADSL bandwidth

Hello every one.
nice job.

My 128kbps ADSL bandwidth,is limited to 50kbps and I don't know why,but two week ago, everything was O.K.(I am struggling with this problem about two weeks...)
I have checked all process and can say I'm not hacked(my system isn't zombi)
Maybe it's useful to say that since 3 weeks ago,I downloaded a file from torrent and it took one week to download.

Any ideas about such reduced speed in my LAN(ADSL)?
I appreciate any help.

Thanks in advanced

hi have you checked the cables?
funny thing i had probs last week and i had to change my cables and the adsl filter (as in the pic) and the bandwidth returned to full speed.

you could post your results here by using this http://www.speedtest.net/index.php or this if you are in the uk http://www.cnet.co.uk/broadband-speedtest/

Do you have a monthly cap on the amount you can download? By monthly, I don't necessarily mean calendar months, but payment period months, which may be any date in the month. If so, you might have exceeded the limit and so your ISP has throttled your connection for the remainder of the payment month period.

They could also have detected that you were downloading via a torrent, and thus throttled your connection because of that (some ISPs do this).
