Do you have any VPN software installed? What OS are you running? What other computers do you have on your network, and what OS are they running? Were you previously able to be pinged? If so, what changed (updates installed, software installed, drivers updated, etc)?

When did you install your VPN software? Did you have your VPN software installed before you had this problem? What did you install in May? Are you running SP1?

Also, check your VPN software for "stateful firewall" and turn it off to see if that helps.

What did you do in May that caused this to start happening? What did you install or remove from your computer? What did you add or remove from your home network (switches, routers, etc)? What else do you have on your network, and do any of those computers have any network problems?

When did you install Windows 7, did you do it yourself, and was it a legit copy? Was it a complete install, or was it a hack job using nLite or something like that?
