Deactivate "Type of network "PopUp

Hi,

I'm looking for a solution for stopping the Network Type PoPup which appears after changing the network (eg. new UMTS network etc.)

I found this how-to: Unidentified Networks - Set as Private or Public which automatically defines an undefined Network as punlic or private. This is a fisrt step but unfortunatelly the Popup still appears.

I need this for unattened systems that does not allow user interaction and block my network for this system.

Thank you in advance and Regards,

Alex

Hi,

I treid with The Professional Release of Windows 7. Here you can deactivate by Group Policies, but i did not find any way for Home Premium yet. Is it possible to find out the Reg seeting by the Group Policy Editor?

Thank you and Regards,

Alex

Home premium doesn't include group policy functionality. My best suggestion would be to upgrade to Professional edition... And really, if you're doing unattended installs, you ought to be running pro anyway.
