Windows 7: Shared Network Drive Issues

So recently I set up a partitioned 1.5tb drive that allows two of my laptops to connect to my desktop. It was working great, and I set it up within about 10 minutes. I did notice however my share drive was getting low on space so I decided I would increase the size and I did something idiotic so I ended up having to reformat the entire drive.



Now the problem, after I formatted the entire drive and set it up with all my files and everything I went through the share process and I've run across a bit of trouble. My laptops don't have access to the drive or anything to do with my desktop. The only thing I've done was pretty much disable and re-enable this network drive.

I ran the troubleshoot on my laptop to connect to the specific drive and it reported that . Following that error and a few Google searches I attempted to change my preferred DNS to 208.67.222.222, which had no effect.

And now as I'm running the troubleshooter again I'm getting this More details, my desktop is directly connected to the router via ethernet while both of my laptops are connected wirelessly. I have the shared drive permissions as Everyone with full control.

I'm not sure where it went wrong, but I had it working before and I did the same thing as before.

Edit: So I should of actually added the Users group also. So ignore this.
