    Roadrunner Wideband DNS Issue

I've recently upgraded to Time Warner's Wideband internet, and when it works it is absolutely fantastic. The problem is, it doesn't like to work. Ever. I've already called Time Warner and they dispatched some guys to my house, and they fixed the problem for about a day. And then it started happening again. Whenever I do the troubleshooter, all it does is tell me I have a DNS issue, or I have an issue that it knows nothing about. In fact, I get better results when I use the Windows Live Messenger troubleshooter than I do the built in Windows 7 one. The issue seems to revolve around the DNS, but I've manually changed it twice already. I've used GoogleDNS and OpenDNS yet both of them yield the same results that Time Warners DNS does. This problem is very annoying, because I can only connect to most websites about 35% of the time.

Using a router? If you bypass the router while still using public DNS does your DNS issue go away?

I have a Motorola modem that is also my router. This problem occurs on both Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections. For some reason my Windows Live troubleshooter fixes the problem.

This is the most common thing I see.

I would contact your ISP in this regard. Key ports error looks a bit odd to me.
