When I try to share internet with other users in my surroundings I get an error.
To share the internet I:
- Goto: Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections
- Right click a network connection
- Select tab "Sharing"
- Tick: "Allow other network users to connect though this network connection"
- Select a private network connection
- Done (?)
The error I get states:
Quote:
Cannot enable shared access.
Error 0x80004005: Unspecified error
in the event viewer the following appears:
Quote:
- <Event xmlns="

And also this may be relevant. Appears right after that event:
Quote:
The ICS_IPV6 was unable to allocate bytes of memory. This may indicate that the system is low on virtual memory, or that the memory manager has encountered an internal error.
It states the XML is malformed, so I cannot show it.
