    DNS keeps failing

Hi, I bought a new router that was a Netgear DGND3300v2, this was replacing a previous Netgear which was continuously cutting out (because it was 2 and a half years old).

I setup the router fine as am using the connection now, but on frequent occasions it reports my DNS is unavailable. This is through out the house with 4 computers not just mine. I have no static ip setting setup and just followed the cd instructions when I purchased the router.

I am not an expert with router setup so sorry if am a little slow to understand.
    Any help appreciated, thanks :)

    Hello,

Seems to be that there are times that all your computers are not picking up the ISP's DNS setup from your router.

See if Power cycling the devices helps.

If that didnt' help, add/assign Public DNS's in your router's settings.
    Google Public DNS

    Please report back your progress.
