    Fast access to LAN settings?

I miss being able to quickly access LAN settings by right clicking the network activity icon in the task bar (aka XP). Has anyone found a faster way to do this in 7?

If you really need to regularly access your LAN settings why not create a short cut to desktop ?

I agree too... I missed the days of getting right in to my network adapters, all in one folder. You can create a shortcut as ilesal mentioned, but I too miss easily getting to my network connections folder, seeing all of my NICs/VNICs, BT NICs, etc... making short cuts for each on the desktop odd.

oh wait, I can make a shortcut to the folder, man i never knew this....

explore to Network Connections, then right click the breadcrumbs to Network Connections and then choose copy address

then paste shortcut on your desktop.

Its odd because if you create a shortcut with the path : Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections it doesn't work. Nor does dragging or dropping the shortcut. Seems only 'copy address' from the breadcrumbs will work.
