    Sony vaio won't connect to Internet


    Hey guys,

    So my laptop is finding networks and connecting to them it says I have Internet but when I try to load it up it's not working, I know the connection is ok as I'm posting this using my phone which is also connected to the same wifi and the net is working fine. When I connected with my phone I had to provide an email addy so I could get access however my laptop won't even let me et this far.

    Any ideas on the problem and how it can be resolved would be great.

    Please tell us the exact make of your laptop, or download and reinstall the lan and wifi drivers manually from the manufacturer's site.

    Hello,

    You may refresh your wireless connections by removing the existing wireless networks stored in your computer. Re-add the SSID with the correct network encryption if the network is secured.
    Wireless Network - Remove

    If above suggestion didn't work please provide an ipconfig /all output.
    Click on Start => in run or search box type cmd, choose run as Admin and press enter. Open up a command prompt then Copy and Paste these ipconfig /all >c:\ipconfig.txt . Please attach the .txt file to be found in your Local Disk 'C' on your next post.

    Sony VAIO won't connect


    Hello, my Sony VAIO won't connect to the internet. It's telling me it's connected but doesn't have access to the internet. It was working one day then the next day it stopped! Why I need it to connect is that I'm trying to transfer my iTunes file to my new computer. Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My friends laptop is crashing, it seems only when he is using the internet (wifi) if the wifi is off it doesn't seem to happen. Doesn't seem to BSOD in safe mode. He has reformatted, still the same issue. Im about to try a different set of drivers for the Atheros wifi, haven't tried 2 already.
