New Win 7 Home Network
I have just purchased a new Win Home Premium laptop as part of my home network. It has setup a new Home Network complete with password and it sees my printer and and my desktop, but I can't see the desktop files until I setup to home network from the desktop also.
The desktop (also Win 7 Home Premium) has been connected to another network (not this new home network) because my former laptop was XP. Now when I try to setup the desktop with the new home network even after disabling the old network I get the error message stating that windows cannot set up a home network on this computer.
How can I get around this?
Solved by Dell technician taking control of my pcs.
