Dear seavixen32 and dear alphanumeric,
thank you very much for your very kind support. You are right, I Use Win 7 and some Macbook Pro in the Network. It seems that there is no solution to add the access for everyone on Public Document Folder in the Directory Public. But so it seems to be. But that doesn’t make real sense to me: why the folder public documents is different to the other folders in the same directory. I don’t know why and for what? LG Karl

Restore Public Documents folder
I deleted the \users\public\"Public Documents" folder. How do I restore this folder? Simply creating a folder with that name does not create a folder with the correct characteristics.

Internet based shared calendar, ideally on Google, like a public folde
Anyone know how I can recreate something like this but on an internet calendar service (google is highly preferable) http://i.imgur.com/AV8Xy.jpg Likely to be switching to Google Apps (free, not paid) soon as IMAP appears to be sufficient for this small business needs. However users would lose...

Public Documents hidden files
I have a 64GB SSD drive and wanted to change the location of Public Documents, Public Music, etc in the Library to my storage drive rather than using the smaller C drive. I already did this with My Documents, My Music, My Pictures. The redirect was successful (going to the folder properties, then...

What happened to my user folder and documents? Changed to Public?
I installed Avast AV when Norton expired. In order to activate the internet security stuff, I had to install the upgraded library file, blah, blah, blah. To do this, I had to show hidden folders. Having only recently begun my foray into Windows 7 (coming from XP), I was flying a bit blind. ...
