SMB problems on 7 64bit but not 32 bit
I have a lenovo t400 which is a 64 bit laptop i have been playing with operating systems all summer switching from vista to 7 and back etc.
I also use xbmc and am getting very frustrated with smb support for 7 x64 . When i boot up xbox i can see my dads computer running xp pro 32 bit my server running windows 7 32bit and my moms mac running 10.5
i can see my computer name populate but when i try to proceed further xbmc halts.
note: i am running this on my xbox not my laptop and there have never been share problems on the xbox end
I have tried what i belive to be everything. I also have tried this.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Bottom line: why does file sharing and Smb work perfectly with 7x32 but not 7x64? what can i do to fix this?
