We need a lot more information like what malware app are you running, whats the name of the app, what does it try to change the settings to, etc, etc.
I would start by downloading Malwarebytes and running it.

The sofware concerned is the giveaway of the day
Giveaway of the Day - free licensed software daily. OneClick Professional 12 - WinCleaner One Click will fix Windows errors and speed up your slow computer. WinCleaner is the right choice to maintain your PC, Laptop and Netbook.
Outpost security suite is the software that's flagging it up.

I am totally unfamiliar with Outpost but I can see no reason it is trying to change proxy settings. I would again suggest you run Malwarebytes.
