Wireless Card problems after restarting from sleep mode

I have a very annoying problem with my laptop. I have a Dell XPS M1530 and I put Windows 7 professional on it. I have set it that every time I close the lid, the computer goes into sleep mode. When I open my lid, it goes onto the log in screen. Once I log in, it recconects to my router. It says it connects to the router, but doesn't connect to the internet. I then restarted my wireless card, due to an on/off button on the side my of laptop, and once restarted, it connected to my router and still, no internet. I then proceeded to restart my router. Once completely restarted, it shows up in the list of connections I have to choose from, but doesn't automatically connect. Then I double clicked on my router to have my latop connect to it, then it proceeds to tell me that it was unable to connect. Once I completely restart my computer (3 minutes time wasted) it connects fine. I tested the router out on another latop I have at my disposal and during this entire process, it stays connected to both the router and the internet, while mine does not. My basic question it: how come my laptop disconnects from the internet, but not the router, almost every time I bring it out of sleep mode? If I could fix that, then it would save me a lot of time overall; thanks for any help!

    Hello,

You may want to download and update your Wi-Fi card's driver.

Also, disable any power saving mode from the adapter itself from Device Manager.

Oh, I didn't think of that, maybe not all of the drivers installed when I put Windows 7 on my computer. Thanks!
