Windows 7 Professional - 2 NICS - 2 Different Networks

Hello,

My situation is this: I have a system that will need to communicate between 2 networks. We have 2 - 1Gb Network Adapters in the system. One network adapter is configure (statically) to the domain. The other will be statically IP for the second network ... My concerns is about the gateway on the second NIC.. Will it need a gateway for software to talk to Network #2?

The other part of the question: Will this cause issue with getting to the internet on the domain side.

Thanks for anything that may help ahead of time.

Tom
