Hello All, I am have problem with wireless connection , I have just finished XP install and other drivers installation but wireless is undetected ie there is no network list when I refresh the network list ;nonetheless, when i switch to run window 7 (which is now) wireless is automatically detected. What could it be the cause of the problem and what should I do to enable wireless connection in window XP, please? I would appreciate all suggestion , please kindly advise.

You can downlod drivers for Acer Aspire 4740G from here:
Acer Support: Downloads & Support Documents - Notebook / Aspire / Aspire 4736Z
Use the Acer Hardware Vendor Detection Utility to get the best drivers.

I ever used Acer Hardware Vendor Detection Utility and wireless lan is Atheros also the driver is the latest version which is Wireless LAN_Atheros_8.0.0.238 .

However, when switch back to XP again network is in the network list and able to be connected without changing anything . It might be because of unreboot after driver installation .

Anyway , thank you for suggestion.
