    Network extremely slow

I've bought a new server for downloads and hosting media. I have the following setup:

    Router
    Dlink dir655, wired network.

    Server
    Foxconn nt3500. Win7 32bit.

    Clients
Htpc, asus e35m1 mobo (amd fusion). Win7 32 bit.
    Netbook, HP pavillion 3125-dm1. Win7 32 bit.

I can acces the server using one of the clients, but copy speed is about 15 kb/s. Streaming video doesn't work either. What could be causing this extremely low speed? Pinging works fine.

Is it the wireless that is slow? If so try changing the wireless channel. Their may be interference

    Hi Jag,

You may also try changing the Wireless Mode of your router. Usually by default, it's on Mixed Mode, change it to an N or B/G or play around with the Mode, save the setting then try again.

No all wired. I have a wireless connection for the netbook, but when i use a wired connection the problem remains. The htpc is on wired network as well.

Network seems to be working fine. Pinging works, download speeds are according to spec (4mbit) and VNC between server and htpc is working perfectly in two directions. Only the windows network is giving problems.

From the computer's Device Manager=> Network Adapter, you may change the Link Speed & Duplex - Auto Negotiate or Auto Detect, try changing to diff settings, see if it will help.
