Usually it's a software that came with your Gateway or Wi-Fi device. If you are using this and your built-in Windows WLAN Auto config is enabled, it will conflict.
Are you using a 3rd party utility to wireless connect?

Post an ipconfig /all
of the computer in question for review and we're able to determine what type of Wi-Fi adapter you have installed.
Click on Start => in run or search box type cmd
press enter (run as Admin for Vista and 7). From the black screen, type the word ipconfig /all
and press enter. Right click on the black screen or Command prompt then choose Select All and Paste the results onto your Post.
Do you have the latest driver for your Wireless network adapter?
- I'm not sure if I do or not. Is there an easy way to diagnose?
