    error 0x8007046a copying from windows xp to windows 7


    I am getting: error 0x8007046a: Not enough server storage is available to process this command - when I try to pull files from a windows xp computer to a brand new windows 7 x64 computer.

    I did the following tutorial:
    Windows 7 Forums - Cross Platform LAN Error Fix

    I am still having the problem when copying the data. I tried to copy from the xp server to an xp without any problems. The network hardware hasn't changed and I have been able to copy files to and from on differnet windows 7 boxes.

    Any Suggestions?

    Well, looks like I just had to post to show I wasn't as thorough as I should have been. I made the same changes to the xp box and rebooted it. It is now copying the files. I am now thinking that it was the xp box hadn't been rebooted in quite some time.
