| | Phone Modem Question I am just now starting to use my cellphone as a modem to my PC via Tethering with a USB Cable I have Windows 7 Home Premuim on a Dell Insprion 530s. my Cell is a Samsung Strive (A687) with AT&T for my provider. After tinkering around with the PC studio (the software on my PC to use my phone while connected), i got it working. But, under the network Icon on the Win 7 system tray it says i am connected to "Samsung Strive 5". At one point i had 2,3,4 and now 5. Now, i only have one phone to use. Somehow, after configuring it, it thinks (i guess) i have 5 modems? So, how can change so that my PC only 'sees' that i have one modem connected (other that my LAN/NIC) I want to change the connection so that it reads "samsung strive" only. |
