No pop-up when clicking system tray network icon?

    Hi guys,

Here's a goofy problem that's eventually happened to me on every Windows 7 install I've done. Has it happened to you?:

You want to connect to a wireless network, so you click the "network" icon in the system tray. But nothing happens; the usual network list doesn't appear. To see the menu, you have to open the Network and Sharing Center and click "Connect to a network". You must now do this each time—to connect or disconnect.

I realize this is more like basic Windows functionality than actual network stuff—but any idea what causes it, and how to fix it? Thanks, Ander

No one could answer this? The same thing has happened to me, with every Windows 7 install I've done. No fix available?
