help removing unwanted Connections in Network C'tions dropdown

i have all these "Available Connections" in my dropdown that i don't want to see there. i can't find how to only show the one(s) that i might use...

i'd like to hide the Connections that i've circled in the attached image. (often there are many more, which is why i'd just as soon have them removed once and for all...).

anyone?

thanks very much!
