I am unable to use file sharing between a Windows 7 laptop and Windows XP laptop. Both are Professional, both are in a domain, both have and need the C drive shared and they need to be able to access shared files between them. In certain situations we use a wireless AP (DHCP is enabled) for these laptops to connect to. I can access shared folders from the Windows XP to the Windows 7 laptop, but not the other way around. I have shared the C drive and enabled full control to Everybody. I get error, "\\LT-7 is not accessible. You might not have permission to sue this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request."
As a side note, sharing is setup right on the Windows XP laptop because I have other XP laptops that can access the shared files and folders just fine. Just not from the Windows 7 Professional laptop. Please Help!.
