Unable to see, select, use 5GHz network

    H all

I recently bought a new router (Linksys E4200 dual band router). Set up. Connected wirelessly from my laptop successfully. Question is this... I am sure that I am connecting only on the 2.4GHz network and can't make the laptop connect on 5GHz.
The laptop is Sony Vaio S series. Wireless adapter is Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6200 AGN which (according to the Intel page) is a dual band adapter.
So, I have a dual band router, a dual band adapter but cannot connect to the 5GHz band.
When I look at the available WLANs in Network & Sharing, I can only see the 2.4GHz band (I gave the 5GHz band a different SSID, and this is not listed).
Running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.
Apart from the puzzle over 5GHz, everything else is fine... can see all other network devices (SAN, printer etc...)
HOW do I see, select, force my system to use 5GHz?
    Thanks!

    solved

Set 5GHz network as "Wireless-N only" instead of "Mixed", in router settings.
    Works fine now.
