    Just that it is in your event viewer, it may be a rougue/fake AV program.
    Also if an update is downloaded but fails installing, it will just try again, should not re-download it.

    @PROFDLP thanks - I am just a bit concerned about attempting a removal because I am not sure what version of Office the Click2Run application is linked to as my system came with an office 2010 trial and also office starter 2010 - I currently use the office starter 2010 for some pretty important docs I am working on so wouldnt want to mess things up.
    @BRITTON30 Ah I see what your looking at - the problem you are seeing isnt a problem but just an issue as to how I copied the text into my post.
    The computer should have said OWNER-PC and under that in the text it had the word SECURITY which some how got linked to the PC part !

    I have never had Click2Run on my machine, but if it's tied to a Service you could just disable it. If things act up for you afterward you could just re-enable it.
